After Repair Procedure
AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURECaution:
^ After repairing a malfunction, perform the following procedure to verify that the malfunction has been corrected.
^ When performing this procedure, be sure to drive the vehicle at lawful speed and pay attention to the other vehicles.
1. Connect the WDS or equivalent to the DLC-2.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (engine off).
3. Verify that DTCs are cleared from memory.
4. Decrease ATF temperature to 20°C (68°F) or less.
5. Start the engine then wait 180° or more.
6. Warm up the engine and ATX.
^ Engine coolant temperature: 60°C (140°F) or more.
^ Transaxle fluid temperature: 20°C (68°F) or more.
7. Shift the selector lever between P position to M range while depressing brake pedal.
8. Drive the vehicle for 90 s or more at a vehicle speed between 25 and 59 km/h (16 and 36 mph), then 60 km/ h (37 mph) or more for 60 s or more.
9. Drive the vehicle in D or M range and shift gears between 1st and 4th (TCC operation) gear.
10. Gradually slow down and stop the vehicle.
11. Make sure that the repaired DTC does not recur.
