SQUEAKING NOISE FROM BRAKE PEDAL

DESCRIPTION

The brake pedal makes a squeaking noise while depressing or releasing the pedal. The noise may be due to brake fluid deterioration causing the seal cup to squeak when sliding in the cylinder body.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Replace brake fluid with Genuine Mazda DOT 3 Brake Fluid according to the Workshop Manual (section 04-11 AIR BLEEDING).

3. Verify repair.
