Malfunction Lamp / Indicator: Service and Repair

PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) INDICATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts:
1. Front scuff plate inner
2. Front side trim
3. Side panel
4. Side wall
5. Front console
6. Glove compartment
7. Center panel unit
8. LCD unit (with car-navigation system)
9. Dashboard center panel (without car-navigation system)
10. Car-navigation unit (with car-navigation system)
11. Passenger-side air bag module
12. Dashboard garnish




4. Remove in the order indicated in the above table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
