DESCRIPTION

This bulletin has been released to advise you on special handling precautions for the 2006 Mazda5 trailer transportation to prevent possible damage to the vehicle.

SPECIAL HANDLING PRECAUTIONS





1. LOADING AND UNLOADING

To prevent nose and underbody damage while loading and unloading, follow these steps:

a. Use rubber mats on edge of ramp

b. Avoid "back-loading" if possible

c. Maintain a slow speed

2. TIE DOWNS





a. Secure vehicle with a tire band as shown.





b. If tire bands are not available, use frame locations as shown.





CAUTION:
Do not use eyebolt and hooks under rear bumper as damage may result. Instruct truck carriers to use the four holes underneath vehicle as shown.
