Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair

RECLINER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the driver's side front seat.
3. Remove the seat back frame. (See FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [EXCEPT L3 WITH TC])
4. Remove one of the two washers on either side from the recliner motor shaft.
5. Pull out the recliner motor shaft in the direction of the arrow and disconnect it from the recliner motor.
6. Remove the bolt.
7. Remove the recliner motor from the seat back frame.
8. Remove the connector.
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
