OWNER NOTIFICATION

Mazda will notify U.S. owners by first class mail beginning August 31, 2006. Owners will be advised that the warranty extension is effective immediately and does not require a visit to the Mazda dealers.

PARTS ORDERING

Use MStore to order additional Powertrain Warranty Extension Addendum Cards (1=5cards).

WARRANTY EXTENSION

For all 2004, 2005 and 2006 model year RX-8 vehicles, the warranty coverage for the Powertrain Components is extended to 5 years (60 months) from the original warranty start date, with a 60,000mileage limitation. Please refer to Warranty Bulletin Category: AD, Number: 18 for complete details.

The owners will receive an addendum card to be placed in their original warranty booklets, and also instructions for Powertrain Limited Warranty. The following are the details of the instructions.

Please note that you may have vehicles in inventory that require the addendum card.

Five (5) addendum cards are enclosed with this notification. Please use these cards for any affected vehicles in your inventory. Additional cards can be ordered through MStore per the instructions on this page.
