Interior Light
INTERIOR LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts:
1. A-pillar trim.
2. Front scuff plate inner.
3. Rear scuff plate.
4. B-pillar lower trim.
5. Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt.
6. B-pillar upper trim.
7. Rear package tray lid.
8. Sub-trunk
9. Third-row seat.
10. Rear header trim.
11. Trunk end trim.
12. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt.
13. Cargo compartment light.
14. Trunk side trim.
15. Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt.
16. C-pillar trim.
17. Map light.
18. Assist handle.
19. Sunvisor.
20. Headliner.
4. Detach the tab and remove the bulb housing.
NOTE: The valve housing and the wiring harness have been integrated and attached to the headliner. The wiring harness passes under the urethane and shock absorption pad, so if the valve housing is to be replaced, cut the urethane and then cut and remove the shock absorption pad.
5. Pull in the direction of the arrows and detach the tabs.
6. Remove the interior light.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Install a new shock absorption pad by applying adhesive to the areas where the previous shock absorption pad was removed after installing the wiring harness. Also, after installing the wiring harness and shock absorption pad, reinforce the areas where the urethane was cut with vinyl tape.
