Component Tests and General Diagnostics

STEERING LOCK UNIT INSPECTION[ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM]

1. Remove the column cover.
2. Measure the voltage at each terminal (other than terminals G and H).
- If the voltage is not as specified in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference), inspect the parts under "Inspection item (s)".

3. Disconnect the steering lock unit connector

Terminal A - H:




4. Verify that continuity at terminals G and H is as indicated in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference).
- If there is any malfunction, inspect the parts under "Inspection item (s)".
- If the system does not work properly even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the panel light control switch.
