Fuel Pump Ballast Resistor: Testing and Inspection

FUEL PUMP RESISTOR INSPECTION[L3 WITH TC]

Resistance Inspection
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the fuel pump resister.




4. Verify that the continuity between the fuel pump resister terminal A and B is within the specification.
- If not within the specification, replace the fuel resistor.

Fuel pump resistor continuity : 0.304 - 0.336 ohms (20 °C {68 °F})
