Antenna, Radio: Service and Repair




CENTER ROOF ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Sunroof seaming welt (Vehicles with sunroof)

b. Console (4 door) Removal and Replacement

c. A-pillar trim A-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

d. Upper anchor of the front seat belt Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

e. Front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

f. Rear scuff plate inner Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

g. B-pillar lower trim B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

h. B-pillar upper trim B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

i. Rear seat Rear Seat Removal/Installation

j. Tire house trim Tire House Trim Removal/Installation

k. Trunk side upper trim (5 door)

l. C-pillar trim C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

m. Map light Service and Repair

n. Sunvisor Service and Repair

o. Assist handle Service and Repair

3. Partially peel back the headliner.

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
Without SIRIUS satellite radio system










With SIRIUS satellite radio system










5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. After installation, verify that the rubber of the center roof antenna is installed to the roof panel with no space between them.

Center Roof Antenna Removal Note

1. Remove the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna tabs in the direction of the arrow (1).
