Trunk Lid Opener Removal/Installation

TRUNK LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. To remove the trunk lid opener lever, remove the following part:
a. Front scuff plate (Driver's side) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

2. When removing the trunk lid opener cable, perform the following procedure:
a. Remove the following parts:
i. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

ii. Rear seat Rear Seat Removal/Installation

iii. Rear scuff plate (Driver's side) Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

iv. Tire house trim (Driver's side) Tire House Trim Removal/Installation

v. B-pillar lower trim (Driver's side) B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

b. Partially peel back the floor covering so that the trunk lid opener cable can be removed.

c. Remove the trunk lid opener cable from the trunk lid lock striker.

d. Remove the trunk lid opener cable from the clips A.

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
