Removal and Replacement




SUNROOF UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. (See. Removal and Replacement)

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. A-pillar trim A-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

b. Front scuff plate inner Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. Rear scuff plate Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

d. B-pillar lower trim B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

e. Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

f. B-pillar upper trim B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

g. Rear package tray lid Service and Repair

h. Sub-trunk

i. Third-row seat Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

j. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

k. Rear header trim Rear Header Trim Removal/Installation

l. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

m. Cargo compartment light Service and Repair

n. Trunk side trim

o. Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt Second-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

p. C-pillar trim C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

q. Map light Service and Repair

r. Sunvisor Service and Repair

s. Assist handle Service and Repair

t. Seaming welt

u. Headliner Headliner Removal/Installation

v. Shock absorbing pad Shock Absorbing Pad Removal/Installation

w. Glass panel Service and Repair

4. Disconnect the front and rear drain hoses from the sunroof frame.

5. Disconnect the sunroof motor connector.

6. Disconnect the intruder sensor connector. (Vehicles with the theft-deterrent system)

7. Remove the screw and nuts, then remove the sunroof unit.






8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

9. Adjust the glass panel. Adjustments
