Repair Procedure

1. Inspect driver's door glass run channel for damage, deformation, or mis-installation and repair as necessary. Proceed to Step 2.

2. Remove glass run channel from upper rear corner of door.

3. Remove white tape (if attached) on sash and discard.

4. Confirm position of existing foam pad.

5. Inspect for possible gap between foam pad and lip.

- If a gap exists between foam pad and lip, peel off foam pad and discard. Proceed to Step 6.

- If a gap does not exist between foam pad and lip, leave foam pad in place and proceed to Step 7.

NOTE:
^ Be sure to remove foam pad completely, including residue, otherwise wind noise may worsen.

^ Some vehicles may have additional foam padding (A). If this is the case, peel off both A and B padding.

6. Install a new (3 x 20 x 40 mm) foam pad from kit in same location as removed padding from Step 5 (without gap between foam and lip). Proceed to Step 7.

NOTE:
Kit includes four (4) pads, but only one (1) or two (2) are used for this repair.

7. Install a second (3 x 20 x 40 mm) foam pad from kit over top of confirmed pad in Step 5 (or first installed pad in Step 6).

NOTE:
^ Kit includes four (4) pads, but only one (1) or two (2) are used for this repair.

^ If a foam pad of a different thickness is used, wind noise may become worse. Be sure to use only the 3 x 20 x 40 mm size padding from the kit.

8. Reinstall glass run channel.

9. Check assembly condition by confirming no gap on upper side and proper outer side lip position.

- If outer side lip is in sash, pull it out.

- If outer side lip is in sash and cannot be pulled out, replace glass run channel.

10. Lift inside lip and confirm foam pad contacts sash cut line.

11. Return lip to original position.

12. Road test vehicle at highway speed to verify repair.

13. Proceed to "CAMPAIGN LABEL INSTALLATION".
