JOINT SHAFT ASSEMBLY [MZI-3.7]

1. Assemble in the order indicated in the table










Bearing Assembly Note

1. Install the bearing using the SSTs and a press.






Substitution SST
- 49 F027 005
Outer diameter: 55.5-61.0 mm {2.2-2.4 in}
Inner diameter: 31-38 mm {1.3-1.4 in}
- 49 G028 201
Outer diameter:57-64 mm {2.3-2.5 in}

Dust Seal (LH) Assembly Note

1. Apply grease to a new dust seal (LH) lip.

2. Install a new dust seal (LH) using the SSTs and a press.






Substitution SST

Outer diameter:64 mm {2.5 in} or more
Inner diameter: 58.0-59.5 mm {2.29-2.34 in}
Inner depth: 38.5 mm {1.52 in}
- 49 B025 004
Outer diameter:58.0-59.8 mm {2.29-2.35 in}
Inner diameter: 53 mm {2.1 in} or more
Inner depth: 7.5 mm {0.30 in}

Joint Shaft Assembly Note

1. Assemble the joint shaft using the SST, steel plate and a press.






Substitution SST
- 49 W026 001
Outer diameter:39-45 mm {1.6-1.7 in}
Inner diameter: 36 mm {1.4 in} or more
Depth: 50 mm {2.0 in} or more

Dust Seal (RH) Assembly Note

1. Apply grease to a new dust seal (RH) lip.

2. Assemble a new dust seal (RH) using the SST and a press.
