Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair

FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener, remove the left side trunk side trim.

2. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable, perform the following and partially peel back the floor covering.
a. Remove the driver-side front seat. Front Seat Removal/Installation

b. Remove the driver-side front scuff plate. Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. Rear package tray lid. Service and Repair

d. Sub-trunk. Service and Repair

e. Third-row seat. Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

f. Rear scuff plate. Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

g. B-pillar lower trim. B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

h. Trunk end trim. Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

i. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

j. Cargo component light. Service and Repair

k. Trunk side trim.

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Adjust the fuel-filler lid. Adjustments
