Auxiliary Power Outlet: Service and Repair

ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Rear package tray lid Service and Repair

b. Sub-trunk Service and Repair

c. Third-row seat Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

d. Rear scuff plate Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

e. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

f. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

g. Cargo compartment light Service and Repair

h. Trunk side trim

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Accessory Socket Removal Note

1. While pressing a tape-wrapped fastener remover against the cap projection, pull the accessory socket outward.






Cap Removal Note

1. While pressing the tabs, pull the cap outwards.
