Keyless Antenna Removal/Installation
KEYLESS ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Vehicle Interior, Front
Applied VIN (assumed):
- JM1 BL1S6*A# 100001-180029
- JM1 BL1H3*A# 100001-180029
- JM1 BL1H4*A# 100001-180029
- JM1 BL1H6*A# 100001-180029
- JM1 BL1S5*A# 100001-180029
- JM1 BL1H5*A# 100001-180029
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Passenger-side front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation
b. Passenger-side front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation
c. Grove compartment Service and Repair
d. Passenger-side lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation
3. Remove the fastener.
4. Disconnect the connector.
5. Remove the keyless antenna.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Vehicle Interior, Center
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Upper panel Upper Panel Removal/Installation
b. Shift knob (MTX) Service and Repair
c. Selector lever knob (ATX) Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation
d. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation
e. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation
f. Center panel Center Panel Removal/Installation
g. Audio unit Audio Unit Removal/Installation
h. Rear heat duct (1). Service and Repair
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the nuts.
5. Remove the keyless antenna.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Vehicle Interior, Rear
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Rear Seat Cushion Removal/Installation
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the nuts.
5. Remove the keyless antenna.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Vehicle Exterior, Rear
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear combination light. (See Rear Combination Light Removal/Installation)
3. Remove the rear bumper. Removal and Replacement
4. Remove the nuts.
5. Disconnect the connector.
6. Remove the keyless antenna.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Vehicle Exterior, Driver's Door/Passenger's Door
NOTE:
- The keyless antenna (vehicle exterior, driver's door/passenger's door) is built into the front outer handle. Service and Repair
