Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Testing and Inspection

TRUNK KEY CYLINDER SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the trunk end trim. Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

3. Remove the trunk key cylinder switch. Service and Repair

4. Inspect for continuity between the trunk key cylinder switch terminals.






- If not as specified, replace the trunk key cylinder.
