Rear Vision Camera: Service and Repair

REAR MOUNT CAMERA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
- If the urethane on the rear mount camera becomes damaged, it could result in a malfunction of the wiring harness and the rear mount camera installation. If the rear mount camera is removed and then reinstalled (not newly replaced), perform the servicing carefully so that the urethane does not get damaged.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the trunk lid trim.

3. Remove the rear finisher.

4. Remove the clip.

5. Disconnect the connector.

6. Remove the rear mount camera in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the rear mount camera tab in the direction of the arrow (1).






7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
