DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [AUDIO]
Display Inspection (with display)
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the UP SEEK switch for 0.5 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:
5. To stop the diagnostic assist function by either turning off the audio unit power or by switch the ignition to off.
Switch Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the PRESET switch 3 for 0.2 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:
5. To stop the diagnostic assist function by either turning off the audio unit power or by switch the ignition to off.
With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the Selection switch 3 for 0.5 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

Speaker Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the AUTO-M switch for 0.2 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:
5. To stop the diagnostic assist function by either turning off the audio unit power or by switch the ignition to off.
With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the SCAN switch for 0.5 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

Radio Reception Condition Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. Tune in the radio.
4. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the PRESET switch 2 for 0.2 s or more.
5. Inspect according to the following table:
CAUTION:
- Even if the system is normal, radio reception may be difficult depending on where the system is inspected (indoors/outdoors, or conditions at the location). Before inspecting the system, verify that radio reception is adequate.
- When performing the inspection, select the best area for receiving radio frequencies.
6. To stop the diagnostic assist function by either turning off the audio unit power or by switch the ignition to off.
With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. Tune in the radio.
4. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the Selection switch 2 for 0.5 s or more.

With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. Tune in the radio.
4. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the SIRIUS switch for 0.5 s or more.
5. Inspect according to the following table:

Audio Amplifier Control Condition Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the AUTO-M switch, simultaneously press the CD switch for 0.2 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the SCAN switch, simultaneously press the CD/AUX switch for 3 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

Dial Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the AUTO-M switch, simultaneously press the PRESET switch 1 for 2 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the SCAN switch, simultaneously press the Selection switch 1 for 3 s or more.

Audio Amplifier Specification Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the DOWN SEEK switch for 2 s or more.
3. Inspect according to the following table:

With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the DOWN SEEK switch for 3 s or more.

Audio Amplifier (With Bose(R)) Identify Inspection
Without display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the REPEAT switch and AUTO-M switch for 2 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:

With display
1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the Selection switch 1 and SCAN switch for 3 s or more.
4. Inspect according to the following table:
