FOREWORD [SJ6A-EL]

- When the customer reports vehicle malfunction, check the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) indication, AT warning indication, and diagnostic trouble code (DTC), then diagnose the malfunction according to following flowchart.

- If a DTC exists, diagnose the applicable DTC inspection. Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (SJ6A-EL Transmission) - DTC Table
- If a DTC does not exist and the MIL and AT warning lights do not illuminate, diagnose the applicable symptom troubleshooting. Symptom Troubleshooting Item Table
