FRONT BUMPER STAY REMOVAL [PANEL REPLACEMENT]

Removal Procedure

LH
1. Drill the 5 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.







2. Remove the shroud side member and horn bracket.
3. Rough cut area locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure while remove the front bumper stay.







4. Grind the 6 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.







5. Grind the 16 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure.







6. Remove the front bumper stay.

RH
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Drill the 7 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.







3. Remove the shroud side member, brake hose bracket and junction plate.
4. Rough cut area locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure while remove the front bumper stay.







5. Grind the 5 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.







6. Grind the 16 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.







7. Remove the front bumper stay.

Installation Procedure

LH
1. When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.
2. Drill hole for the plug welding before installing the new parts.
3. After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.
4. Insert the new front bumper stay in the front side frame.








5. Continuous CO2 arc weld around the front side frame, and then install the front bumper stay.







6. Plug weld the 5 locations indicated shown in the figure.







7. Install the shroud side member and horn bracket.

RH
1. When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.
2. Drill hole for the plug welding before installing the new parts.
3. After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.
4. Insert the new front bumper stay in the front side frame.







5. Continuous CO2 arc weld around the front side frame, and then install the front bumper stay.







6. Install the bolt.
7. Plug weld the 7 locations indicated shown in the figure.







8. Install the shroud side member, brake hose bracket and junction plate.
