Fuel Consumption Signal


The current fuel consumption is advised to the trip computer by means of square-wave pulse packets.

The fuel consumption signal is computed from the injection times (e.g. 8 l/hour). One square-wave pulse means 0.2 l/hour.


NOTE: With CAN-compatible instrument cluster information is transmitted over the CAN by the engine control module to the instrument cluster.
