1. Preparations for test

1.1 Install T connector in supply pipe (downstream of differential lock check valve)
1.2 Connect vacuum tester to T connector (Fig. 1)

2. Test procedure

Gasoline engine:
2.1 Ignition: On
2.2 Operate all differential locks ( yellow engage indicator lamps on, electric auxiliary vacuum pump M14/1 running)
2.3 After cut-off pressure is reached, auxiliary vacuum pump off, vacuum Greater than or equal to 450 mbar. Vacuum must not drop within 20 seconds.

Diesel engine:
2.1 Engine: Running
2.2 Operate all differential locks ( yellow engage indicator lamps on)
2.3 After maximum vacuum supply pressure reached, engine off and ignition immediately on again. Vacuum must not drop within 20 seconds.
