Function requirements
- No over voltage/under voltage
- C. 15 ON
- Reverse gear engaged for t > 0.6 s.
- Left of right exterior mirror adjustment selector switch (N72s8) in passenger-side mirror position
- Potentiometers of adjustment motors supply possible values

Function, example (LHS)
If the function requirements are met, the passenger-side mirror is moved into the park position. The position previously set is buffered in the RAM.
The park position is stored in the left front seat adjustment control module with memory (N32/1), a park position can be assigned to any memory button 1, 2, 3.

If the exterior mirror is in the park position when circuit 15 is switched off, when circuit 15 is switched on again
- and reverse gear is not engaged, the mirror is reset after the time t > 1s
- or, if reverse gear is engaged, the park position of the mirror is set after the time t > 1 s.

The resetting of the mirror is performed in the case of
- no reverse gear interrupted for t ≥ 10 s
- vehicle speed of v =10 km/h exceeded
- exterior mirror adjustment switch (N72s7) was operated.

If at any particular moment a manually programmed adjustment is performed, the mirror park position function is ended.
