Closing Lamella Roof, Function

Function prerequisites
Voltage not too low or too high
Switch-on conditions for convenience control fulfilled

Function
The lamella roof can be closed by pressing the lamella roof switch (S13/4) toward the front.
The switch status is read in by the electronic evaluation circuitry in the right lamella roof motor (M12/3). This electronic circuitry then actuates this motor as well as the left lamella roof motor (M12/4) connected in parallel.
The lamella roof can only be closed by continuously actuating the switch.
An express close feature is not available for safety reasons.

NOTE:
Vehicles up to 11.99:
The power for the right lamella roof motor (M12/3) is supplied via a fuse directly to c.30.
The power to the lamella roof switch (S13/4) is supplied via the convenience relay (F1k14).

Vehicles as of 12.99:
The power for the right lamella roof motor (M12/3) is supplied via a fuse directly to the c.30. The power to the lamella roof switch (S13/4) is supplied via a lead to the extended-activity module (EAM, N10/1). This power is switched through only when the switch-on conditions for the convenience control are fulfilled and the EAM is coded accordingly.
