BAS Pressure Increase
The conditions for switching on Brake Assist (BAS) braking are met, the BAS solenoid valve (y1) is open. Atmospheric pressure acts on the back of the rolling diaphragm. The pressure difference between the back and front side of the diaphragm causes maximum brake boost.
