Remove/Install Xenon Headlamp Control Module
- with CODE (612b) Xenon headlamp unit
- 163.154/174 #A up to 289564







Remove/Install

Danger:
- Danger from Xenon headlamp high voltage
- Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should never work on xenon headlamps.

1 Remove left front headlamp unit (E1) or right front headlamp unit (E2)
2 Remove cover from rear of headlamp unit
3 Disconnect plug (1, 2) on Xenon headlamp control module (E1n1, E2n1)

NOTE: Turn connector (2) %U turn counterclockwise.

4 Remove xenon headlamp control module (E1n1, E2n1)

NOTE: Carefully press control module off of mount using long wedge

- Installation wedge: See Special Tools below.

5 Install in the reverse order
6 Adjust headlamp into zero position using STAR DIAGNOSIS
7 Inspect headlamp adjustment, correct if necessary.
