Remove/Install

Danger:
- Danger from Xenon headlamp high voltage
- Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should never work on xenon headlamps.

1 Remove left front headlamp unit (E1) or right front headlamp unit
2 Place headlamp in inverted position on workbench

CAUTION: Place on a soft base so that the headlamp lens is not scratched.

3 Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE: 3 each.

4 Remove Xenon headlamp control module

NOTE: is unplugged automatically when removed.

5 Install in the reverse order
6 Adjust headlamp into zero position using STAR DIAGNOSIS
7 Inspect headlamp adjustment, correct if necessary.
