Power Windows (PW), Function

Function prerequisities
Voltage not too low or too high
C. 15 ON or
switch-on conditions for convenience control fulfilled (e.g. front door open)

The power window feature allows the windows in the front and rear doors to be opened and closed.
Moreover on vehicles with CODE (848) power vent windows the rear vent windows can be opened electrically.

Two types of control are possible for the power windows:
Manual up/down
One-touch down feature
