GF72.29-P-4003GH Synchronization Of Power Windows, Function
- 163 as of 1.9.01

Prerequisites for synchronization
- when dysynchronization has occurred.

Synchronization is a prerequisite for the one-touch up feature of the power window, with excessive force limitation.

The synchronization position links the counter status for the recognition with the actual position of the side window.

If a window is not synchronized the end position of the corresponding side window is not known and the one-touch up feature cannot be performed.

Performing synchronization
Adjust the corresponding window with the power window switch in the upper lock-up position "Window closed" and continue to actuate switch using manual up feature. The control module then sets the counter for position recognition to zero when it recognizes that the motor is locked up for min. 0.3 seconds. The window is now in the synchronized state, i.e. the control module can switch off the motor before reaching the mechanical stop when opening and closing the window.

Automatic resynchronization
In the one-touch down mode the window is first moved to the upper lock-up position and resynchronization is performed.
This feature prevents the motor from turning back when self-locking is insufficient following one-touch up operation to the upper lock-up position.
