Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Lock-Up Recognition, Function

The electronic evaluation circuitry for the sliding/pop-up roof (M12) continuously measures the motor armature current. This current increases when the roof locks up. If the current exceeds a certain value, the electronic evaluation circuitry switches off the motor actuation.


NOTE: Lock-up does not lead to desynchronization of the sliding/pop-up roof (SR) (M12). After elimination of the malfunction, it is not necessary to resynchronize the roof.
