Power Window One-Touch Down Feature, Function
The power window one-touch down feature allows the windows in the front doors to be opened completely by pressing the left front power window switch (S21/s1) or right front power window switch (S21/s2) to the second catch position momentarily (< 0.3 s)
The all-activity module (N10) recognizes actuation of the switches and actuates the left front power window relay (F1k18) or right front power window relay (F1k16) via an integrated timer. The actuated relay then switches circuit 30 through to the affected power window motor for the switch-on time of t = 4s (as of 12.99: t = 6s) via the convenience relay (F1k14).
If the switch is not pressed again during the switch-on time, the window is opened completely. Pressing the switch again stops the motor.
Lockup protection
Since the motors can only be actuated for a maximum of 6 s, special lockup protection is not necessary.
