The Tele Thermo Top S heater is a compact water heater with small dimensions.
Connected to the engine coolant circuit during the cold season the heater provides for:
^ a pleasant preheated passenger compartment
^ ice-free and fog-free windows and
^ a preheated engine
Moreover, it is possible to ventilate the passenger compartment before driving (stationary ventilation).
The use of the heater reduces
^ the accident risk by ensuring good vision when starting a trip.
^ mechanical wear of the vehicle engine resulting from cold operation.
^ fuel consumption while protecting the environment by reducing emissions when the preheated engine is started
The stationary heater is controlled by the stationary heater timer (N34) in the center console or with the associated radio remote control
All components required for generating heat and for heat exchange are integrated into the heater. They are subdivided into four function groups
^ combustion air blower
^ burner housing
^ control module/heat exchanger
^ coolant circulation pump
An external fuel metering pump (Y23) is located in the area of the vehicle fuel tank for supplying fuel to the heater.
The heater version depends on the fuel, gasoline or diesel available.
