Seal (silicone)
Timing case cover, oil pan top section, oil pan bottom section and end cover are sealed with a silicone sealant at the points A, C, D, E, F and G.
No sealant should be applied to the timing case cover at the point (B), pressure oil galleries to crankcase, with the exception of around bolt hole G.
Sealing compound which is applied to the points B, is caught by the oil flow and clogs the oil supply holes of the : main bearing, camshaft bearing, rocker arm and oil spray nozzles.

Repair instruction
The sealing compound must be applied as a 2 mm thick bead. After this, fit together the parts immediately. The silicone bead must not be spread.
It is important to apply the sealing compound as specified (refer to figs.).
