Removal and Installation
1 Release upper mounting of shock absorber (on frame) and detach.
- Unscrew nut.
- Remove bolt.





2 Release lower mounting of shock absorber (on axle) and detach.
- Unscrew (1) nut. Remove plate (2) and rubber mount (3).
- Lift shock absorber out of bracket (4).
- Remove retainer (5 and 6) and rubber bearing (7) as well as spacer sleeve (8) from shock absorber.

3 Check rubber mounts, renew if necessary.

4 Install in reverse sequence.

Note: Renew self-locking nuts. Tighten fastening nuts of shock absorber at top to 100 Nm at bottom to 70 Nm.
