AR28.50-P-1017-05B Install Off-Road Gear Gearwheel At Drive Shaft
- MODEL 461, 463 with TRANSFER CASE 750.65











1 Install sliding sleeve (arrow) with groove facing downwards.

Clamp drive shaft, use protective jaws to do so.





2 Install needle roller bearing (1).





3 Install synchronizer ring together with synchronizer cone (4), annular spring and off-road gearwheel (3).





4 Install cylindrical pin (arrow) and mount thrust plate (2).

For the transfer case 750.654 the thrust plate (2) is without a notch and the cylindrical pin (arrow) has been discontinued.





5 Heat tapered roller bearing (6) in heating oven to 120° C.
6 Press tapered roller bearing (6) onto drive shaft.





7 Install spacer tube (1).





8 Screw on and securely tighten nut





9 Secure nut (7).

The shear position must face towards "Release" to ensure that the nut (7) is blocked for this rotation direction.
