B - Service Schedule

Interior
- Reset maintenance counter in instrument cluster.
- Replace dust filter.
Function Check:
- Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting.
- Throttle cable: operate accelerator cable slowly by foot through full range of travel. Observe smoothness of operation. If roughness is detected, replace throttle cable.
- Windshield wipers, rear window wiper, windshield/rear window washer.
- Lubricate door locks, incl. rear door
- Headlamp cleaning system.
- Check seat belts for damage and proper function.
- Check battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.
- Check parking brake (function test only)

Wheels, Brakes
- Check brake pads for lining thickness front/rear.
- Check condition/thickness of brake discs front/rear.
- Check tires for damage and condition.
- Measure and record tread depth.
- Correct tire inflation pressure including spare

Underside of Vehicle
- Leakage - Major components.
Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components.
- Check condition of front axle ball joints and rubber boots.
- Check condition of rear axle ball joints and rubber boots.
- Check condition of steering's mechanical components and rubber boots.
- Check and correct fluid level:
- Transfer case
- Front axle
- Rear Axle
- Lubricate propeller shaft universal joints and collapsible sections

Engine Compartment
- Leakage - Major components.
Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components.
- Engine oil and filter change.
- Lubricate joints on throttle control, check operation and condition.
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation.
- Check condition of poly-V-belt.
- Check and correct fluid level:
- Engine cooling system, antifreeze and corrosion protection.
- Power steering.
- Brake system.
- Differential lock mechanism: Engage differential locks, move vehicle short distance to engage locks, then unlock differential locks
- Windshield washer including rear window washer (where applicable)
