1 Use two-way puller and puller legs to extract the bearing outer race (2) from the bearing cap (1).

Note shims.





2 Press drive shaft (3) out of bearing cap (1).

Do not damage oil retainers.





3 Remove circlip (4).





4 Use suitable drift to press out ball bearing.

Note shims.
