ATA Fault Code 90C7 in Rear SAM

If you receive reports in the above model vehicles of the Fault Code 90C7 (Communication fault with component H311) appearing current or stored in the Rear SAM, version coding may need to be corrected in the Central Gateway (CGW) and Rear SAM.

1. Navigate to the following STAR Diagnosis menu: Control Units --> Body --> CGW --> Control Unit Adaptations --> Read Coding and Change if Necessary --> All Codes

2. Change coding for National Version to USA (Code 494).

3. Navigate to the following STAR Diagnosis menu: Control Units --> Body --> REAR SAM --> Control Unit Adaptations --> Read Coding and Change if Necessary --> EDW anti-theft alarm

4. Verify that coding is set to USA

5. Navigate to the following STAR Diagnosis menu: Control Units --> Body --> REAR SAM --> Control Unit Adaptations --> Read Coding and Change if Necessary --> Equipment version

6. Verify that coding is set to the following

a. H3 (alarm signal horn) set to NOT PRESENT

b. ATA Alarm signal siren set to PRESENT

c. EDW anti-theft alarm set to PRESENT
