Location
- Model 219 : on left side of luggage compartment
- Model 164.1, 251: on right side of luggage compartment

Task
The fuel pump relay actuates the fuel pump with voltage via a fuse.







Function
Actuation takes place from the ME control unit via a CAN signal to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (model 219) or to the rear SAM control module (model 164.1, 251). These actuate the fuel pump relay with a ground signal at circuit 86. When the power contact is closed the fuel pump is connected to circuit 30 (B+) via circuit 87.
