Cable connection

1 = to temperature indicator (In instrument cluster)
2 = to plug connection (Hall sensor)

22 Connect cable to cable connector,terminal 58d(x6/3)
23 In diesel-driven vehicles, route cable harness (refer to page 9) for Hall sensor (speed signal), from instrument cluster to multiple connector and cable connection of windshield frame (left defroster nozzle)

NOTE: Cable harness and Hall sensor are provided in gasoline engines.

24 Screw on Hall sensor (1).Clamp ground cable (2) to Hall sensor and to ground of instrument cluster under housing screw. (only for diesel-driven vehicles)

NOTE: As of vehicle ident.no.085 026 an electronic speedometer is installed and as a result of this the installation of the Hall sensor and associated cable harness is omitted.
