Component Identification:

Ensure that the wiring harnesses are not damaged by chafing or being trapped otherwise the appropriate wiring harness must be replaced.

1 Route wiring harness (6) from previously created opening in backrest to video control unit (1).

The video control unit (1) is only placed in the seat and is fastened at a later point.

2 Connect wiring harness (6) to video control unit (1).

The white 12-pin coupling (23) is connected at a later point. The connections at video control unit (1) are coded and cannot be swapped.

3 Fasten wiring harness (6) at seat frame using cable ties.
4 Strap down excess length of line from wiring harness (6) using cable ties.
5 Route wiring harness (9) from video control unit (1) to left front seat connector block.

The connections at video control unit (1) are coded and cannot be swapped.

6 Connect wiring harness (9) to video control unit (1).
7 Fasten wiring harness (9) at seat frame using cable ties.

8 Detach and disconnect left front seat connector block (X55/3).
9 Connect black 4-pin coupling (24) and black 4-pin connector (25) of wiring harness (9) with disconnected left front seat connector block (X55/3).

The black 4-pin coupling (24) and the black 4-pin connector (25) are coded and cannot be swapped.

10 Connect assembled connectors and fuse carrier at the carrier (33).

The fuse rating is 5 A.

11 Fasten wiring harness with cable ties.

12 Connect wiring harness (7) to video control unit (1) and route to previously created cutout at front passenger seat.

To ensure a seat adjustment in the longitudinal direction, the wiring harness (7) below the respective seat must be routed with a loop. Wiring harness (7) is routed below floor coverings. When routing, lift the center console and tilt the seats.

13 Connect wiring harness (7) with wiring harness (8) and fix wiring harness (8) in place with cable ties.
14 Fix wiring harness (7) in place at right and left below the seat with velcro strip.
