Function requirements:
When circuit 15R is activated, the functions are available to the radio. If circuit 15R is not activated, the MOST subscribers are rendered active when the radio is switched on. In this case, control using the multifunction steering wheel is not possible.

Radio reception
Integrated into the radio are 2 radio tuners, which can be controlled via the controller unit. Operation via the interface is generated by the radio and shown on the display. The audio signals are amplified by the radio and then output via the vehicle speakers. With code (810) Sound system, the audio signals are routed to amplifier for sound system, amplified there, and output over the vehicle speakers.

Playing audio CDs
The single-slot drive beneath the radio display and the CD changer code (819) 6-disk CD changer) can play CD audio media (in Red Book audio format). Underneath the single-slot disk drive is the button for ejecting the CD ("Disc Eject").

Audio signal control
The radio manages the audio sources, such as CD changer (code 819) 6-disk CD changer) and amplifier for sound system (code 810) Sound system). These audio sources can be controlled via MOST. An external analog audio source can be connected to the radio via the AUX jack in the glove box. Data exchange via a discrete line.

Making phone calls
The portable CTEL (A34/6) is inserted into the UPCI [UHI] portable CTEL holder (Universal Handy Interface) (A34/15) and is thereby connected to the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit. The telephone feature is included in the UPCI (Universal portable CTEL Interface) control unit. The system is operated via the radio. The Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit is connected to the radio via MOST.
