No particular changeover of units of measurement is to be performed for the trip computer as it takes over the settings and codings from the instrument cluster (A1)
Units of measurement (miles/kilometers) are switched over in the instrument cluster via the selection "settings " in the "instrument cluster" submenu in the multifunction display (A1p13) using the multifunction steering wheel.

The only requirement is to preset the unit of measurement used to monitor the distance (kilometers or miles). The other units that are relevant for the trip computer are then converted automatically.

The US gallons/UK gallons are coded via the national version with STAR DIAGNOSIS.
