Component Identification:

Location
The xenon headlamp supply modules are located under the front left lamp unit and front right lamp unit.

Task
The supply modules are used for supplying power to the xenon headlamp (E1e8) and the xenon headlamp (E2e8).

Function
The supply modules generate an ignition auxiliary voltage and pass this on to the xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2) and the xenon headlamp ignition module (E2n2).
The xenon headlamp ignition modules in turn generate the ignition voltage required for igniting the xenon burners.
When successfully ignited, the xenon headlamps are supplied with operating voltage by the supply modules.
