Repair Materials:

1 Make fastening plate (1) for GPS antenna.

Dimensions of fastening plate (1):
60X60X1 mm.

2 Drill through hole dia. 5 mm in a corner of the fastening plate and deburr.
3 Prime the fastening plate (1).







4 Remove protective foil from underside of GPS antenna (2) and glue GPS antenna (2) to mounting plate (1) as illustrated.
5 Attach fastening plate (1) with glued on antenna (2) using bolt (3) to the engine hood.
6 Remove cover for air intake case (10) and detach air intake case.
7 Remove rubber (4) and open at the specified fracture point.
8 Route wiring harness (5) into opening and attach to washer fluid hose (6).
9 Remove rubber grommet (7) for rear air spring hose (8).
10 Route wiring harness (5) in rubber grommet (7) together with rear air spring hose (8).

Position wiring harness (5) in a loop in front of the rubber grommet (7) in the engine compartment so that any water that runs down it can drip off.

11 Route wiring harness (5) in right footwell.
12 Route wiring harness (5) under the front floor covering (9) to the radio opening and attach to the radio wiring harness.
13 Attach plug housing (11) to end of wiring harness (5).
14 Install rubber grommet (7) and seal with MB universal sealant.
15 Secure air intake case (10) and install cover.
