The following work procedure is shown on the right side of the vehicle. Installation on the left side of the vehicle is performed correspondingly.






1 Cut out cutting template (11) along broken line.
The cutting template (11) is included in the installation kit.






2 Apply cutting template (11) to head restraint and mark separating point (broken line).
3 Remove cutting template (11).






4 Cut seat cover using a knife and fix shackle (12) in place using adhesive tape (13).
5 Work out opening in seat cover and remove remaining foam.






6 Work out seat core until cross strut (14) of seat is accessible.
7 Sew seam of seat cover with leather needle and thread (arrows).
The seam of the seat cover must be threaded. Otherwise the seam may come apart further.
If no seam is present, this operation step can be omitted.

8 Fold shackle (12) into opening.






9 Insert silver bracket (15) into opening at backrest.
10 Insert black bracket (16) into opening at backrest.
11 Screw black bracket (16) to silver bracket (15) using screw/bolt (17).
The threaded connection means that the black bracket (16) and the silver bracket (15) become an integral part of the seat cross strut exposed in operation step 6. Observe tightening torque.






12 Tighten bracket with screw/bolt (18) at crossmember of seat.
Use suitable washer and nut from delivery contents. Expose seat cover.
