Glass Panel of Tilting/Sliding Roof Can Reverse During Automatic Closing

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles where the sliding roof glass panel reverses during auto closing, this may be caused by excessive resistance. The glass panel "pulls" the sun shade with it and reverses direction as soon as it touches the wind deflector. To remedy, clean and oil (A000 989 35 60) the guide rails for the sun shade. Do not use grease! If signs of wear are visible on the guide rails, it may be necessary to replace the sun shade. Do not replace the OCP or the sun roof motor.
