Illustrated on model 251.1

The low-line tire pressure monitoring system (TPM) must be manually reactivated if the driver changes the air pressures or if a wheel or tire is changed.

The temperature-compensated pressure thresholds for the warnings in the TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) are set based on the pressure values at the time of reactivation. Proceed as follows:

^ Correct the air pressure at each wheel;
^ Switch on the ignition (circuit 15 "ON").

^ Using the scroll forward/back button select the low-line tire pressure monitor (TPM) system.

Display of ECE variant

^ Press trip odometer reset button (A1s3). The previous display changes to the selection screen with preselection "No".

^ Press the "+" button on the + and - button for setting specific functions and volume control on the multifunction steering wheel. The selection screen with selection "Yes" appears for approx. 2 seconds and then changes immediately to the confirmation screen.

All other buttons cause the activation sequence to be aborted.

^ After reactivation has been successfully completed, the system message shown opposite appears.

The display can be preset to a specific language or country by the driver.
